HSN Support for Invoices

Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) codes play an integral role in determining the tax rates applicable to goods and services. We now support capturing HSN codes as we support capturing AvaTax codes if the merchant has configured taxes in the India region. This will apply to your plans, addons, and charges.

Consolidated Invoicing Fix

With this release, we have resolved a bug that did not support Consolidated Invoicing for Trial Subscriptions even if the setting is enabled for your site.

Salesforce Migration

We noticed that the Contact Trigger job fetches all the fields of the account, but the custom fields are not added in the selector method which throws the exception and limitation associated with the queuable jobs. This issue is now resolved.

MS API Support

You can now use MS API to fetch segmentation. The Segmentation API leverages the standard Microsoft Dataverse Web API for manipulating entities or messages to provide more accurate reports.

Xero Partial Payment Fix

Partial payments logged in Chargebee have duplicates created in Xero multiple times. We not only fixed this bug but also cleaned-up duplicate Invoices.

HubSpot Deal Setting

Subscriptions were synced to HubSpot deals, although the sync rules for deals were set to "Do Nothing". This issue is now resolved.

Additional Updates to HSN Codes

We introduced HSN codes to Invoices to help streamline the applicable taxes for products and services. With this release, we have addressed some additional updates to the HSN code feature to ensure you apply the correct taxes to your invoices.

Duplicate Primary Key Fixed

We have resolved the Bigfoot - ShipStation - Duplicate Primary Key issue to help manage your order management integration effectively.

CRM Card

With this release, we resolved an error where the CRM cards show "Authentication Failed" in Australia (AU) and European Union (EU) region data center in both HubSpot (contact-based) and HubSpot (quote-to-cash) integrations.

Script Updates to UI

We want to make sure our UI scripts are visible to "authorized eyes" only. With this release, all JSP pages will be removed post stable testing from the Chargebee app.

Email Notifications

We have introduced a detailed breakdown of the estimated charge upon subscription renewal/activation in the relevant emails. The breakdown will have three components - charges, discounts, and taxes. It will be displayed in all the emails related to subscription activation and renewal.

Additional validation to Bulk Actions

Our user interface makes navigation easy during the completion of a bulk action request. However, this means you may inadvertently complete an action you did not intend to. With this release, we provide additional validation based on the extent of the activity to be completed.

We resolved multiple issues with this release:

The proceed button was enabled even when a language pack was not uploaded successfully. This is now resolved.

The confirmation panel for manual emails was displayed even for a small batch of emails. With this release, the panel will be displayed only when the number of emails exceeds a threshold value.

Overriding default Translations

You can now override the translations provided out of the box by Chargebee for the following locales: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. This enhancement was being enabled only on-demand earlier, and we have now opened it up to all the customers.

NetSuite SuiteTax

With this release, you are now able to choose the option of sending tax information for a SuiteTax enabled account so that you do not have to reach the Chargebee support for enabling the configuration.

Adyen Processing Latency Fix

This release addresses processing Adyen webhooks due to a slow query and delays affecting their real-time processing.

Additional parameters on Revenue Story

With this release, the Customer Insights section reflects the Total Invoice Amount Paid for the merchant as a line chart while considering PAID invoices only. Additionally, it appears in pre and post RevenueStory banners.

Order Migration and Filter and Plan Assert Fixes

The fixes are associated with Order Management including generation and settings of orders.

HubSpot

With this release, you can choose how the deal amount is calculated - based on subscription MRR or the total of the subscription's recurring products.

Language Pack fix for Checkout

Localization is key to providing an exceptional user experience. We identified a bug that did not display the Language packs within the Chargebee's checkout as it would in the invoices. We have now fixed this bug to ensure users have the same checkout experience irrespective of their language choice.

Card selection in Checkout

The incorrect or invalid card is auto-selected when a customer accesses the hosted pages. This was applicable even when customers add a new payment method. This issue is now resolved.

Worldpay for Live Sites

Webhooks on Worldpay are now acknowledged for live sites.

Additional parameters on Revenue Story

With this release, bugs related to scheduled jobs resulting in Error 500 are fixed.

Report Builder Update

The Report Builder feature belongs to Revenue Story and the "NEW" tag is removed from the Report Builder navigation links.

Dunning Notification Update

We found a bug in the background process that triggers direct debit dunning notifications. With this release, we fixed the bug and re-triggered all emails that failed to be sent due to the issue.

Additional Reason Codes

Previously, users were unable to add additional reason codes to be displayed in the self-serve portal in addition to the existing reason codes. Our new release now makes this possible!

Subscription E-commerce UI Updates

With this release, you can now access customer card details from the Order Details page, and we have fixed the error with the order ID not being shown on the Invoice Details page.

UI Fixes

This release fixes bugs identified due to transactions and filter options that are not visible on mobile platforms.

Adyen Payment Scheduler Bug

As part of this fix, we move the scheduling part from "AdyenNotificationPaymentGatewayAction" to the Adyen configuration page, this will avoid the schedules happening multiple times outside the job flow. We resolved multiple issues with this release:

Identified an issue in direct integration with Authorize.net wherein First Name and Last Name are not available in CIM at Auth.net after Spreedly to Direct migration.

With Checkout.com's new API to fetch the Source / Permanent token details, we no longer need to do a $0 transaction.

Subscription MRR and Coupon update

We resolved multiple issues with this release:

We found that the option "include in one-time charge" in MRR calculation does not work as intended on the Leap UI and Product Catalog 2.0 sites. This issue is now resolved.

When you apply coupons with the special character "é" and update the plan on the details page, a 404 error message is displayed. This issue is now resolved, and you can now add special characters to the coupons.

Fixed! We found a bug in the error message when the subscription in contract terms is paused.

Invoices

We resolved multiple issues with this release:

We found that the added discounts are displayed even after removing the charges. This issue is now resolved.

We fixed a bug in the error message for the percentage coupon value which is greater than 100.

We found that the merchants are able to add USD-based manual coupons for JPY Plan. This issue is now resolved and an error message is displayed when you try to add a different currency coupon.

Notifications

We are making the Notifications features even better! You can now customize emails with discounted value and display the final calculation to your customers in email notifications.

Consolidated Invoice Support for Netsuite

We have enhanced Consolidated Invoicing between Chargebee and NetSuite integration. You can now generate and sync the consolidated invoice with the mapped item code when having multiple plans in the consolidated invoice.

HubSpot Sync Update

This release includes the following enhancements:

We want to improve and streamline your HubSpot sync process with Chargebee. We have now included the field "VAT" which will be synced as part of additional field mapping for customers. This will help you to tax and invoice appropriately when creating customers and subscriptions out of HubSpot.

We now automatically convert the Country Field of Hubspot to ISO Country Code while creating the Subscription and during the Checkout process.

Payment Method

We found that the payment method "GooglePay" is not listed even after enabling the payment method on the site. This issue is now resolved.

Integrations Inbound bugs

We resolved multiple issues with this release:

We found that the customer creation from the iframe fails when the company is created only with the company name and without adding country information. You can now create a customer without adding a country.

We found that Archived products (plans/addons/ charges) are synced to Hubspot as part of the product synchronization. This issue is now resolved and Archived products are ignored during sync.

An error message is displayed when you automatically create a subscription from a deal in HubSpot.

Authorize.net Update

We have improved the Authorize.net gateway configuration by adding the Direct Debit payment method in Checkout and Self Serve portal. You can either choose to display this option for all the customers or only for the customers with Direct Debit payments enabled based on your requirements.

Support for RBI Mandate

The mandate start date has been modified to Epoc seconds instead of Epoc milliseconds in Stripe to support India's RBI Mandate.

Improvements to SonarCloud

We have enhanced the configuration of SonarCloud. This will fetch the Sonar code scan report and JUnit test code coverage by displaying it in the SonarCloud portal.

Create Subscription from a Quote

We found an issue during the creation of a Subscription from a Quote using the Chargebee application's User Interface and GetAccept integration. This issue is now resolved.

Email Notifications

We found that an email notification was shared with users stating that the VAT numbers are invalid even though the VAT numbers were valid. This issue is now resolved.

Revenue Story

We are making the Revenue Story features even better! This release includes the following enhancements:

You can now perform your cohort analysis more efficiently using our improved Retention cohorts. In addition, we have enhanced the Subscription retention cohort and MRR retention cohort.

Optimized IMDB CMRR query and introduced a logical table "Insta subscription Histories".

Invoices

We found that the linked order number does not appear on the Invoice Details page for the merchant with a large number of orders. This issue is now resolved.

HubSpot Quote to Cash Integration

This release includes the following enhancements:

We have enhanced the integration process with HubSpot. The integration allows syncing Chargebee plans, addons, and charges with price points created using any pricing model to HubSpot products. However, during the sync of tiered, volume, and stairstep price points, Chargebee only syncs the price that is set for the lowest tier as HubSpot does not support tiered pricing and allows you to store only a single value for the price component of a product.

We have added a tooltip to ensure the currencies configured in Chargebee are available in HubSpot to avoid product sync errors.

Checkout

We have identified that checkout or portal allows only 9 digits for adding phone numbers. This issue was with Indonesian phone numbers. You can now enter up to 11 digits (excluding the prefix) when adding a phone number.

Mobile Subscriptions

A new feature to unlink existing integration is introduced for App store integration. This can be accessed by clicking the unlink integration link on the Overview page. This will help you to unlink your app store integration with your Chargebee site for reasons such as associating a new application to the site, relinking the same with different configurations, and discontinuing their usage.

Data Migration

We resolved multiple issues with this release:

We found an issue during data migration from the Salesforce package 1.48 version to Chargebee. This issue is now resolved.

Opportunity type was not getting auto-populated while creating or updating Subscription in the Selection page. This issue is now resolved.

While retrying to map the customer records, instead of mapping the account, the Chargebee ID and site are removed from the account. This issue is now resolved.

Self-Serve Portal

We have enhanced our Customer Self-Serve Portal to display your App Store In-App Subscriptions. Since In-App Subscriptions are managed within the Apple App Store, we restrict the users not to perform any subscription action in both Checkout and Self Serve Portal.

Coupons

We have tailored the metrics simple and effective by adding the ability to replace Coupons without affecting the MRR. Prior to this release, replacing a coupon is a two-step process that is to remove and add. The action of removal and addition triggers two MRR updates which are now ignored.

Subscriptions

We resolved multiple issues with this release:

We found that when you modify the scheduled subscription, an incorrect proration is applied. This issue is now resolved.

Invoice preview for the child account shows that the parent account will be charged with the amount, even though there are promotional credits available on the parent account. This issue is now resolved.

Amount Withheld (TDS)

You can now issue a refund on an invoice when Amount Withheld (TDS) is recorded. This allows you to get a refund from the government as these are recorded as excess taxes paid by the customers.
