Merchant UI updates for e-mandate visibility

We resolved multiple issues with this release:

This user interface enhancement enables merchants to filter customer subscriptions with setup mandates. This will enable merchants to manage RBI's e-mandate guidelines more effectively. This feature is currently not supported in Leap UI.

This release will ensure compliance with the new regulation from SEPA. This regulation requires that the owner's billing address is provided to Stripe gateway when we create the SEPA source.

Errors fixed in the email logs page

This release resolves errors where the email logs page is not loading during a few instances when all fields are removed from this page.

Configure SMTP server to prevent XSPA

For secure email communication, it is recommended to use the following ports to connect with your custom SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) servers. The recommended ports include: 465, 587, 25, 2525, 80, and 8080.

TaxJar Integration Error

Increased the characters limit to store nexus addresses in our database to allow merchants with numerous nexus addresses to use the TaxJar integration wizard without further issues.

Leap UI Formatting issue

We identified a bug in the subscription details page due to "Format not found for currency" issues on the Leap UI. This is now fixed!

Invoice Enhancements

This release includes the following fixes and enhancements:

We found a non-responsive error was being displayed while closing a Pending invoice and this issue is now resolved.

Taxes were being applied on promotional credits for the invoice full amount, something that is not supposed to happen. Taxes will not be applied on Promotional credits.

You can now proceed with "After" and "Subscription End" options for Schedule Advance invoicing, without any issues.

On the invoice details page, the billing period was not showing for line items (for one-time charges/quick charges), which is now fixed.

Invoice Fixes

This release includes the following fixes and enhancements:

Latency issue on loading csv_tax_rule because of a temp table creation is resolved and released to the US region.

Address the failure for almost all of the failing jobs and needs attention for few domains in high volume shards, which is a work in progress.

When Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) is enabled, we've now introduced a copy change for the invoice customization settings page.

The audit meta is now generated including tax_withheld type to include tax_withheld fields in the client library.

Invoices HSN fix

This release includes the following fixes:

We found that the warning text for Harmonized System of Nomenclature (HSN) code is not displayed in Configure Taxes - India page after configuring Avalara. This issue is now resolved.

We also fixed a bug in the invoices page to display the correct plan info.

Consolidated Invoicing for Metered items - Rounding Off

While consolidating charges for subscriptions that include metered items, the unit price was found to be rounded off incorrectly. The miscalculation has been fixed with this release.

Unbilled Charges API fix

The tax parameters were not working as expected when trying to create unbilled one-time charges via API. This has been fixed.

Report Builder - Amount Withheld

A new field Amount withheld is added within the Invoices data source in the Report builder for building detailed and summary level custom reports. This will be visible only for sites where TDS is enabled.

Add-on Error

This release fixes the currency mismatch error identified on Leap UI and Product Catalog 2.0 while using Add one-time addon/charge from the customer page.

Amount Withheld (TDS)

You can now able to sync the TDS amount from Chargebee to QuickBooks. This will help you to avoid manual effort to sync the TDS amount. This is applicable only to Indian merchants.

RBI e-mandate Enhancement

This enhancement was introduced to implement RBI mandates enforcement for Stripe India for Hosted Pages.

Create a quote against a canceled subscription

The Chargebee Salesforce integration now allows users to create a quote for reactivating canceled subscriptions and fixes an issue wherein while updating customer records, the Person Account name was populated with only Firstname and not the Lastname.

Metered Products support

With this enhancement, the user can create subscriptions automatically for Metered products. Also, this release fixed an issue where the line item level discount is not honoured. After the fix, the line items level discount gets treated as price override.

Additional Field mapping for company

This release fixes an issue where under certain conditions, the user was unable to select the 'auto-collection' field as additional field mapping for Company.

Send email to users when a sync job fails

As part of this enhancement, users can configure automated email notifications in Chargebee when Missing Deals Pipeline and Invalid or Expired Authentication sync job fails.
