Notifications Email Error fix

We found errors in the Reply All functionality of notification emails to display the accurate email address of the originator. This is fixed now.

Update to Notification Emails

Nobody likes unnecessary emails, so only domains associated with the Chargebee test site are added to the whitelist. This means notifications can be triggered to whitelist domains only and users must reach out to our support team for the addition of new domains.

Quote and Subscriptions fix

We noticed errors in pop-up messages for quotes when changes are made to a subscription. With this release, all quotes will display accurate details when changes are made to the subscription.

Checkout URL Redirect

The URL redirect upon successful checkout interface needed additional information based on the integration option selected by the merchant. With this release, we have included additional information about the addition of relevant domains to the allow-list for successful redirection to the URL specified.

Mollie Support for Card, iDEAL, and SEPA payments

iDEAL payment method is among the most preferred localized payment options in the EU region. Your Mollie payment gateway configured on Chargebee can now accept iDEAL and SEPA direct debit payments. However, only the first payment is processed via iDEAL, the subsequent recurring payments are processed via Direct Debit.

Shopify and ShipStation sync error fix

We identified that orders in Awaiting Payment status were also being synced in ShipStation and we made changes by truncating longer logs to make it easier to read and extract data.

Subscription Display error

We identified an error wherein the subscription page does not display for customers with an invalid address when you integrate your Chargebee site with Avalara. We have corrected this error to ensure that applicable details will continue to be displayed.

Coupon Processing fix

When applying a coupon, the checkout page continued to process a payment without the discount associated with the coupon. We have rectified this error to ensure that all applicable coupons are applied at checkout.

HubSpot Folder fix

We noticed unexpected behavior when changes are made to the products within the HubSpot folder. As part of this release, we have resolved errors allowing users to manage their products better using a customized folder structure.

Order Index Page UI fix

We have improved our Order Index page with better filter options, removed duplicate entries, relevant pagination, and order count to provide you with accurate information to manage your orders effectively.

Updates to Invoice Generation

We noticed latency in the response to the generation of an invoice quote which can be attributed to the absence of a customer ID requiring a query for the entire transaction table to identify applicable payments and credits. As part of this release, the customer ID field if left blank will be skipped to avoid latency in the generation of the pop-up for Checkout.

Adyen Payment Failure fix

We identified that there were sync failures on Adyen due to an error associated with refunds initiated on Chargebee. When a refund is initiated from Chargebee, the complete authorized amount is refunded to the customer from Adyen. If the amount stored in Chargebee is less than the refund amount sent by Adyen, it will result in sync failures for all future transactions.

UI Improvements for Migration from Product Catalog 1.0 to 2.0

We identified and addressed certain UI improvements that will enhance customer experience and ease of use.

Change the sorting styles in index pages.

Replace ellipses icon with the More Options button.

Ability to create entities after filtering the entities.

Label the icon with Import Customers.

Icon to configure fields is intuitive.

HubSpot Sync update

We want to improve and streamline your HubSpot sync process with Chargebee. When customers and subscriptions are created from sales-driven flow, a message is lined up for Chargebee-integration to consume.

Xero Sync Errors

Accounting Transactions must be accurate at all times! We fixed an issue where a single transaction was synced to Xero twice leading to overpayment. Also, we fixed an error with the sync completed for entries prior to the start date of the sync. With this release, you will have access to an improved sync process.

Adyen Gateway Updates

This release focuses on the notification and identification process for Adyen across multiple sites. Also, we will support more effective migration of Smart Routing settings during migration from one site to another. Finally, our invoicing system does not reuse an invoice number associated with a failed transaction, this means all missed invoices are a result of failed transactions.

Fraud Notifications Adyen

This release fixes errors associated with the following actions on Adyen.

Fraud notifications are active in the dev environment.

The fraud notification job is rescheduled without any error in the dev environment.

HubSpot Enhancements

This release provides the option to create a subscription through a button click so that you can verify the details of the company associated & plans selected in the deal line items before creating a subscription out of the deal.

Subscription Change Fix

We identified an error while making any changes to the subscription. With this release, we have resolved all issues as a result of the unknown parameters such as taxes leading to the 500 series errors while making changes to an existing subscription.

Order Details 404 error

We found an issue with the Subscription link displaying an error "page not found" in the Order Details page. This issue is fixed now.

Revenue Story Enhancements

With this release, users will be able to review their plan level reports using the Plan Name against the current reports which were available using Plan ID only and will be applicable to Churn-related reports.

Backdating subscriptions on NetSuite

This release will allow customers to sync their billing information from Chargebee to NetSuite for the respective month provided the accounting period is open for the backdated billing information. Additionally, backdate the offline payment sync start date accurately in Intact.

UI Latency Fixes

This release is aimed to improve the two APIs:

Invoice Enhancements

We are making the Invoice features even better! This release includes the following new features:

A much-awaited feature that captures the TDS deductions is implemented in this release which will help you to understand the tax deductions for products and services. With a focus on the Indian market, we now support TDS or withholding of taxes. The tax_withheld resource captures the details of such tax deductions at the source. Implementing this feature enables you to capture the amount withheld separately on the invoice after invoice generation.

We now support Metered Billing parameters in Quotes. With Chargebee's metered billing solution, you can flawlessly charge your customers based on their usage of your products and services.

HubSpot Quote-to-Cash Integration

The HubSpot Quote-to-Cash integration requires your Chargebee site to be on Product Catalog 2.0. For complex sales workflows, we recommend using HubSpot Quote-to-Cash integration.

RevenueStory Reconciliation error

Fixed! We found a bug in reconciled data of gross cash flow which is not matching with the metrics displayed.

GoCardless and Stripe Notifications

Currently, the email where all the notifications are triggered is not exposed anywhere in the UI and there is no option to edit the email address or other non-sensitive information. With this release, we expose the email addresses added against the Payment Methods and also provide an option to edit the email address and other non-sensitive payment-related information.

Contract term amount calculation error"

We found a bug in contract term amount calculation when coupons are added to a subscription. This is now fixed and the contract term amount calculation displays the effective price after the deductions of coupons applied.

Edit Order Details page

An error message is displayed when you click the "Edit order details" button in the Order Details page. This issue is fixed and navigates you to the appropriate page.

Optimized Multi-Currency

With this release, we have optimized the queries for multi-currency domains.

Optional Addons error

We found that the Optional/Recommended addons are getting removed when you are upgrading to a plan with restricted addons. With this release, on changing the plan, in addition to the existing addon configuration, the quantity and price overrides are included without removing any addons.

Trial Add-on errors

The Trial Add-on feature did not function as intended with a range of issues. This release addresses all of the errors.

Russian Rouble Errors

We found a bug in the Plan amount and MRR values calculation, especially with the Russian Rouble currency. This issue is now resolved.

HubSpot Updates

This release addressed the following reported issues

Security Enhacement

We at Chargebee always thrive to improve our quality and security. With this release, we have adopted SonarCloud that helps in quantifying code quality, running static code analysis, and reporting unit test coverage.

Hierarchy Invoice fix

When you have a customer with parent and child level account hierarchy and try to consolidate invoices, the invoices were not consolidated. This issue is now resolved.
