Unable to Select Related Data Sources in Report Builder

Subscription histories are disabled while selecting subscriptions to build a report in the Report builder. this issue was fixed with this release.

Create subscription button not available

The create subscription button on the HubSpot deal was missing. This is now fixed.

Salesforce CRM Integration Package v1.53

The following features have been introduced in this release.

The Checkout URL now displays any manual discounts applied to the subscription.

The quote acceptance link which the customer can use to pay and subscribe for the subscription products themselves now includes manual discount details as well.

The integration now populates contract terms fields such as Term Start, Term End, Amount, and more on the Chargebee subscription and quote objects.

RA3 Redshift and RA3 - Postgres reports

Few reports will be served from Postgres even though the domain is served from redshift. Those reports are results in errors due to the incorrect formation of queries. This issue was fixed with this release.

Usage Fix

While deleting usage for a subscription with a metered plan, a "Sorry, something went wrong!" error message was displayed that blocked the usage from being deleted. This is now fixed!

Restrict Countries for Card, Billing, and Shipping Address as a self-serve action

This feature enables merchants to configure the desired set of countries for the card, billing, and shipping address country field through a site-level setting within Chargebee's Checkout.

Export Subscriptions Filter Error

We identified an issue with the filter result for Exported Subscriptions not displaying accurate information. This is now fixed!

Visual Reports

With this release, the legends are to be represented clearly so that they can be used for analysis and filtering purposes. Custom fields in Chargebee were enabled for specific domains within the report builder.

Remove Icon Introduced

We have now introduced a remove icon on the Feature Details page and Edit Entitlements page. With a single click, you can remove a feature from a plan, addon, or charge.

Invoice-related Fixes

The following issues and enhancements were released in this update:

An error Sorry, we couldn't find that resource was reported to be displayed during Checkout with zero value charge and coupon associated. This is fixed.

An e-invoice was found to be generated with the wrong dates. Fixed!

While creating a subscription and looking to schedule advance invoicing 30 days in advance till the subscription ends, an error You can bill up to 0 future renewals for this subscription. was reported to be displayed. The issue is fixed.

We've ensured that when an invoice is deleted, the corresponding line items are also deleted such that the invoices can be re-imported without changing the line item ids.

We've identified and fixed the inability to delete a custom field, due to its association with the invoice customization page.

For invoices that have a payment associated with the Mollie Gateway, the dunning banner was found to be blank. Fixed!

Support for increased Card Mandate limit

Chargebee now supports the increased Card Mandate limit of INR 15,000 as per the latest RBI regulations.

Performance improvement for Hosted Pages

We've worked on the internal implementations and polished some rough edges that load the Hosted pages faster.

NetSuite SuiteTax Amendments

We have incorporated multiple changes to support SuiteTax for our Netsuite integration.

Manual Discounts Feature Release

The manual discount feature is released for Chargebee. With this feature, you can choose to manually update the discounts without the use of coupons. Learn more here.

Updated Prices Display Error

We identified that any changes made to the unit pricing on Tiered, Volume, or Stairstep subscriptions do not reflect on the preview section and display "No changes made on your existing subscription. This is fixed!

Invoice and Credit Note-related Fixes

The following features were added and issues were fixed with this release:

We've introduced additional Credit Notes and Invoice settings to display fields such as the credit note number, service period, and invoice date on the PDFs.

Users were allowed to add blank shipping addresses by specifying just the label which was displayed erroneously while adding one-time charges and quick charges. We've verified and corrected this behavior to ensure that blank shipping addresses or specifying just the label are not allowed.

The invoice note option under customer records was found to not work for users with the sales manager role. This is now fixed!

The discount data specified in the e-invoice XML sent to the customer was found to be indicated in a non-compliant way. This is now fixed!

The void credit note functionality was found to not work when tried for a second time. Fixed!

Proration Updates

Any changes made to an existing subscription when a previous change was effected without proration credits will lead to the customer not receiving the benefits associated with the change. To ensure this information is made available, our user interface will display a pop-up confirming your selection with regard to the proration and advise of the impact of future updates.

Invoices sync issue

The issue of syncing Invoices having tax exemptions due to high-value physical goods has been resolved.

HubSpot Quote-to-Cash integration

Our new Customer Linking feature allows you to link multiple Chargebee customers to one HubSpot company.

Sync Rules for Customers - The integration allows you to configure how the customer data in Chargebee is synced to company and contact records in HubSpot.

Stripe ACH support

You will now be able to collect ACH payments in Chargebee's Full Page layout of Checkout through the Stripe gateway.

Subscription to Chargebee using Checkout.com

Upon completing 3DS authentication in Checkout.com, the end customer will now be able to successfully subscribe to Chargebee.

Apple Pay Support

Apple Pay support is now available in Chargebee.js & Full Page layout of checkout for the below payment gateways, Stripe, Braintree, and Adyen

Card logos for Chargebee payments

Hosted pages will display logos for the card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and JCB (Japan Credit Bureau) for Chargebee Payments. The Chargebee support team will be able to enable or disable any of these card schemes for a merchant as needed.

reCAPTCHA Terms text in checkout

Merchants can now switch between displaying the reCAPTCHA icon or text for mobile devices using a new backend setting enabled through support

Role-Based Access Updates

There were errors identified with the read-only Support Role. With this release, we have fixed the Error 500 screen displayed when a user assigned to the support role attempts to make any changes or updates without access privileges.

Global Payments Gateway

We have added a new payment gateway - Global Payments. Also, we have added Cards as a payment method for Global Payments.

Onboarding Experience Optimised

We have enhanced the onboarding experience in entitlements by updating the messages, labels, and descriptions appearing in the Entitlements screens. We have also optimized the hyperlinks to our support resources like Chargebee API Docs and Chargebee Help Docs.

BlueSnap - SEPA

We have added SEPA as a new payment method for the BlueSnap payment gateway.

MRR fluctuation

MRR Fluctuation logic was changed to fix a bug that impacted the Net MRR Growth and ARR Movement Summary Report.

Goals of type percentage increase

The goal when mentioned as a percentage increase results in an error and this issue was fixed with this release.

Multi-language Support

A new column at the customer level called Locale is now available in the database. Locale identifies and captures end customers' language preferences.

Manage Payment method

The Manage Payment Method option has been moved out of the Other Actions dropdown in the Client portal. It is now available with the Pay Now button.

Set FPOC/SPOC as blank

When a user is deleted from the system, a lot of data in the system continues to be associated with that user. This has a downstream impact on various features like views/reports, auto-engagement, collector queue, etc. Hence, once a user is deleted, for all the customers for which the deleted user is FPOC/SPOC, the FPOC/SPOC field should be set as blank.

Bypass Collection Status

Users will be able to directly close a response case without entering collection status and remarks.

Minor enhancements - Landing Page

The following enhancements have been made to the Landing Page:

Added Unutilised Credits at the company level to the top stats as we already have in the Receivables dashboard.

Replaced Payments Received & Payments Failed on the top stats with Payments Received(Sep) & Payments Failed(Sep) where (Sep) is the current month.

Changed the tooltip of Collectables For September under the Outstanding tab to 'Sum total of invoice amounts to be collected during the remainder of the month'.

Changed the tooltip of Payment Errors under Payment Failures tab to 'Sum total of invoice amounts that failed during the current month due to various errors.

Changed the header of Retries Exhausted under Payment Failures tab to Retries Exhausted to Dunning Exhausted and the tooltip to Sum total of invoice amounts that are due during the current month and have their retries exhausted.

Minor enhancements - Receivables View

The following enhancements are added to the Receivables view

Added Due for September metric in the top stats as per the placement order followed on landing page where September is the current month.

Replaced Payments Received & Payments Failed on the top stats with Payments Received(Sep) & Payments Failed(Sep) where (Sep) is the current month.

No-Payment tag

No-Payment is introduced as an additional category under the Payment Risk option for Quick filters. Customers that show up under No-Payment payment risk signify zero payments made till date.

Added subscription purchase order number in Leap UI

We have added the subscription purchase order(PO) number in Leap UI on the Customer details page to bring feature parity between Classic and Leap UI.

Count of Payment Attempts

A new field is integrated called Count of Payment Attempts and it is reflected in the customer view and also included in the advance filters and column chooser.

Other Fixes

Other fixes with this release include:

Pay Now button is now visible in the Client portal when accessed via mobile.

Set reminder - Notes Modal State was retained with previous action data which is now fixed so previous notes data will not be visible anymore if the user tries to create a new reminder.

Under Collector Queue, the email body sentence was breaking. This has been fixed.

Ignore phone numbers in CB Transformation - Since Chargebee customers are from the US, Europe, and other regions where the phone number format differs from India, our import contacts were failing. This has now been fixed.

Acc statement and Ledger: When there is no date filter or As on Date filter is used for a date range, the downloads were not showing any data. This has been fixed.
