Custom Quick Filters
With this release, you can do the following with Quick Filters:
You can save a view as a quick filter or a saved view. You will be asked to select the desired option when you click the existing **Save** button.
You can create or delete a custom quick filter from the list of quick filters.
Default Email Address in CC
This release contains the following changes:
Provision for a default email address in CC is added to the Admin settings. If an email address is set here as default, they will be in CC for all the emails sent from Receivables to the customers.
Provision for a default email address in CC is added to Auto Engagement. This will enable the user to decide and set a CC user as default for a particular Auto Engagement cycle.
These provisions will help merchants manage and track emails more efficiently.
iOS SDK Method for One-Time Purchase
We are pleased to announce that our iOS SDK now includes a new method called One-Time Purchase that handles the one-time purchase against App Store Connect and creates a Charge corresponding to this one-time purchase in Chargebee. Learn more.
iOS SDK Method for Restore Purchase
We are pleased to announce that our iOS SDK now includes a new method called Restore Purchase that helps to regain your app user's previous purchases without making them any more payments. Learn more.
Updated purchaseProduct Method in iOS SDK
We are pleased to announce that our iOS SDK now purchaseProduct method allows you to pass customer details, such as customerId, firstName, lastName, and email to Chargebee during product purchases. Learn more.
Subscriptions Fix
The following enhancements were released and issues were fixed:
Metered addons were not displayed on the quote PDF. This is now fixed!
The checkout existing API displayed the differential pricing of addon for a plan that was not applied. Fixed!
Inability to update a subscription via API to increase the quantity of the addons associated with the subscription due to a coupon related error. This is fixed!
Checkout Support for Tier Range Overriding while Purchasing a Product
This release allows you to create Checkout links that override tier ranges and item prices. This gives you greater flexibility in creating personalized pricing options for your customers. In addition, our latest release also includes an enhanced customer portal view that displays the overridden price and tier ranges for the respective subscriptions. This feature lets end-users view and edit their subscriptions easily and provides transparency, pricing, and tier ranges.
Report Builder Enhancements
The following updates were released:
The Skip Loader option in the Reset ETL Sync and Reset & Reschedule ETL Sync admin actions has been updated to restrict access to certain team members only. This feature can be enabled through the admin action.
New fields and expressions were added inside Report Builder to help users build their custom reports more efficiently. New Fields such as Invoices (Invoice Line Item, and Credit Note Line Item) and Expressions (Subscription Histories and Subscription Component Histories, Invoices(Total Billing (Excluding Taxes))) were added.
Visual reports are auto-enabled for all customers.
Rounding off was removed from the subscription plan unit price column within the Subscriptions data source.
Introducing One-Time Purchase API
We are pleased to announce that our API now includes a new Non-subscription resource and one-time purchase API that handles the one-time purchase and creates a Charge for this one-time purchase in Chargebee. Learn more.
ACH Payments via Braintree
With this release, we have added support for a new payment method for Braintree - Direct Debit (ACH). This feature is in beta, contact Chargebee Support to enable it.
Invoice Fixes
The following issues were fixed with this release:
The adjustment amount displayed for the invoice on hover displayed not just the final amount but included even the voided credit notes. This is now fixed to display only the final adjustment amount excluding the voided credit notes.
Inability to access some credit notes on the Chargebee site while being able to access some others.
Silicon Valley Bank Impact Analysis Report
In response to the Silicon Valley Bank crisis, we have introduced a new report within RevenueStory to help you identify your customers who have configured payment methods belonging to Silicon Valley Bank within Chargebee. This report has been introduced to make it easy for you to quickly identify any potential impact and take appropriate action.
HubSpot Quote-To-Cash: Show Deal Amount Values in Settings Dropdown When No Match is Found
Improved integration with hubspot by adding a new feature that allows users to choose between mrr and recurring revenue options for the deal amount field when the update existing deal setting is selected and a new deal is created. The new drop-down menu appears when no existing deal is found and enables users to select their preferred option. The default option is mrr, but users can choose to update the new deals as recurring revenue if they wish.
Adding Matching Criteria for HubSpot Company and Chargebee Customer
We have updated the Chargebee and HubSpot Q2C integration to enable users to define mapping criteria for sync between Chargebee customers and HubSpot company. This update gives users greater control and flexibility in mapping criteria, ensuring the right records are synced between Chargebee and HubSpot.
Introducing Import Subscription Without Receipt API
We are pleased to announce that our in-app purchase API now includes a new API that allows you to import historic In-App Subscriptions without using a valid Apple App Store receipt. Learn more.
Introducing Retrieve Subscription from Store API
We are pleased to announce that our in-app purchase API now includes a new API that verifies the application ID and receipt to return the subscription details associated with the purchase. Learn more.
Collect Now Hosted Page Transaction Identification
Our latest enhancement in the collect now hosted page enables you to identify transactions that take place within the hosted page. This new feature enables you to effortlessly monitor and analyze the transactions occurring on the hosted page, providing valuable insights into the usage and efficiency of your payment processing flow.
PFR Billing Report
With this release, we have introduced a new report for Receivables called PFR Billing Report.
It displays the set of invoices that were charged to a merchant for their recovery post retries through Receivables in a particular month.
It provides a detailed summary of amounts that were engaged post-retries and successfully recovered by Receivables.
PFR Monthly Invoice Report
With this release, we have introduced a new report for Receivables called PFR Monthly Invoice Report.
It displays all the invoices that were raised to a merchant during a particular month alongside their payment and retry statuses.
It provides a detailed summary of amounts from the time they were billed to the final recovery via Receivables.
Multi-Business-Entity Support
Multi-Business-Entity support is introduced to enable and facilitate the use of Receivables for merchants having multiple business entities. Business Entity Name and Business Entity ID columns are introduced to filter down or view data related to specific Business Entities. >Business Entity Name/ID is added to the below mentioned places:
Filters and Column Chooser in Customer View and Invoice View.
Business Entity Column added in all reports and download.
Business Entity is added in the Auto Engagement customer-wise selection dropdown.
Subscriptions Fix
The following issues were fixed with this release:
While updating a subscription using checkout_existing_for_items API, the exhausted coupons were found to be displayed on the checkout page. An error Coupon size should not be more than 1 was thrown while attempting to submit.
While updating a subscription using update_subscription API, the coupon that was applied for the older plan gets auto-applied to the upgraded plan even though no coupon id is passed for the update_subscription call.
When a quote is generated for a subscription change or update, the first billing cycle amount is displayed in spite of the remaining billing cycles being zero. We identified that this happens when subscription contract terms are configured to renew, even though the billing cycles are zero and the customer can cancel the subscription during the cut-off period. This is now fixed!
Purchase API: Meta Data, and Custom Fields
The latest update to our Chargebee API now allows users to pass Meta Data, and Custom Fields to the Subscription Object directly from the Purchase API. This means that you no longer have to fetch this data from other APIs, making the integration process much simpler and more efficient.

Visual Report Issue for LTV by Country
Customers previously encountered an issue that prevented them from generating a visual report for analyzing their Lifetime Value (LTV) across different attributes. However, the problem has been addressed, and now you can attempt to produce a visual report to monitor your LTV metric.
Report Builder Fixes
The following issues were fixed with this release:
We have identified and resolved an issue related to duplicate rows appearing in custom reports built using Report Builder. This issue specifically affected the monthly component history MRR in custom reports.
We have identified and resolved an issue related to differences in values between RS Dashboard and Customer Insights in Merchant reports.
Invoice Fixes
The following issues were fixed and enhancements were released:
While converting unbilled charges into an invoice, the plan item was displayed incorrectly below the addon item on the invoice pdf.
Inability to create credit note for invoice due to an issue with credit_notes_estimate.
The tax and taxable amount was displayed as 99999999.99 instead of the actual value.
A consolidated pending invoice displayed values for custom fields without any information input in these fields.
Any subscription cancellation scheduled from dunning will now be removed if the advance invoice is paid before the end of the current term.
We've updated the correct flag for country Andorra under 'Add Country' drop-down.
