We're pleased to announce a fix regarding the display of Net Monthly Recurring Revenue Growth. Previously, the component exchange MRR fluctuation was shown separately in the legends, potentially leading to misinterpretation. To improve clarity, we have now separated the exchange rate fluctuation from the MRR fluctuation. Additionally, as the exchange rate field value is too small for effective display in the CSV, we will now show the value of MRR fluctuation in the VUD(visually underlying data), labeled simply as exchange rate MRR impact.

With this fix, users can now access clear and reliable data, allowing for better tracking and analysis of subscription cancellations.

Invoices not displaying any line items on the UI

This solution lets you view and manage invoice details accurately, enhancing the user experience and facilitating efficient invoice processing.

Feb '24Bug FixesTaxation

Feb '24Bug FixesTaxation

Display VAT in local currency

In this release, we have addressed the issue of using local currency to display tax on invoices and credit notes affecting merchants who need to implement the display VAT in local currency setting specifically for Malaysia.

Feb '24Bug FixesTaxation

Issues with migrating invoices and credit notes

In this release, we have addressed multiple issues encountered in export during the migration of Invoices and Credit Notes. For Invoices, the round-off amount was not exporting properly, necessitating manual addition post-export to rectify errors. To enhance import processes, we have completed the inclusion of seconds in exports temporarily. Additionally, we have resolved an issue preventing the import of line items with two taxes of the same name but different rates. For Credit Notes, amounts in exports now maintain consistency with taxes, and we have included Fraction Correction extraction which was previously missing. Import capabilities have been improved to support negative amounts in Fraction Correction, aligning with generated data. Lastly, the round-off amount is now included in Credit Note exports, ensuring completeness and accuracy during migration

Incorrect effective tax rate for a line item

In this release, we've resolved an issue affecting the CSV Tax Configuration for the US region, specifically when consistent pricing was applied. With this fix this issue has been rectified, ensuring correct tax calculations for CSV tax configurations in the US region with consistent pricing.

Feb '24Bug FixesTaxation

Tax calculated for zero value amount

In this release, we've resolved a rounding-off issue affecting tax calculations. Previously, when creating a credit note for a customer with a 10% discount coupon applied to all line items, the total amount was displayed incorrectly. For instance, instead of $900, it would erroneously show as $899.95.

Feb '24Bug FixesTaxation

VAT validation issue

In this release, we have addressed an issue where you add an EU VAT number in the Settings > Taxation > EU section, particularly for merchants required to provide this information due to Brexit regulations. Previously, when both VAT number validation and Generate VIES VAT Consultation Number were enabled, entering the EU VAT number resulted in Chargebee flagging your VAT number as invalid. This issue has been successfully resolved.
