Pricing Table: Set quantities and pre-fill addresses with new pricing table functions

You can now use the setQuantity() function to specify the item quantity in quantity-based pricing models. Additionally, with the setBillingAddress() and setShippingAddress() functions, you can pre-fill billing and shipping details on your pricing pages, providing customers with a faster, more personalized checkout experience.

Streamlined Workflow for Adding Future Reports to Dashboard

In this latest release, we're delighted to announce an expansion of report options within the dashboard feature. The future reports pertain to users being able to select future options while viewing report data for metric summary for the relevant reports. Earlier, it was only supported for chart views; now, it is supported for metric views as well.

New Metric - DSO

With this release, we have added DSO (Daily Sales Outstanding) as a new metric to the Top Stats and the Customer View under the category Performance Metrics to measure the performance of the merchant's receivables data.

Percentage of Converted Amount

With this release, we have added the provision to display the Amount as a percentage of the converted amount. A new radio button called As a Percentage of Converted Amount is added to the Amount sub-tab under the Document category in the Cycle Rules under Auto Engagement.

Total Collected in the UPR Report

With this release, we have added a new default column called Total Collected in the UPR report. This is the sum of all successful payments made by the customers in the selected time period.

Exclude Functionality for Customer and Invoice Tags

With this release, users will be able to use the Exclude tag functionality in Auto Engagement. This will allow users to exclude customers/invoices with specific tags so that emails are not triggered to those customers.

Pricing Table: Show effective monthly pricing across billing frequencies

If you offer products in multiple billing frequencies (monthly, quarterly, annual), you can now display the "effective monthly price" for all options on your pricing page. For example, if your annual plan is $120, the display will show "$10 per month billed annually," making it simple for customers to compare monthly and annual plans side by side. This added transparency can help drive conversions by making your offerings more compelling for prospective buyers.

Card Address Fields in the Customer View

With this release, we have added Card based address fields in the Customer View and Auto Engagement such as Card Address Provided which indicates If all the address-based fields at the card level are updated.

'To Be Due' Stat Revision

With this release, we have revised the To Be Due stat on the homepage under the Collectables for the month category. Using this stat, a customer can have access to the amount that they can expect to receive as the remainder of the month.

'Associated Reminder Cycles

With this release, both the associated cycles will be visible inside each other. Earlier, if a Reminder Cycle A is associated with Cycle B, then Reminder Cycle B could be seen inside Cycle A only and not vice-versa. Now, even Cycle A will be visible inside Cycle B. This enhances the visibility of the associated reminder cycles.

Other Unpaid Invoicess

With this release, we have added a placeholder called Other Unpaid Invoices under the Customer category for email templates which allows you to add older unpaid invoices to the emails so that the end consumer is aware of all the invoices he needs to pay for. If this placeholder is added to the email, the end customer will get an option View & Pay Bills in the email which will show all the open invoices in the Customer Portal.

Sorting and Limiting Advanced Filters

With this release, we have added options that allow you to Sort and Limit the amount-related advanced filters. While sorting includes two options - Ascending and Descending, a numerical input field allows you to add the limit to the number of customers from the list. Also, two new preconfigured templates are added - Top 100 Outstanding Customers and Top 100 Overdue Customers.

Trigger Emails in Customer Locale

With this release, we have added an additional toggle button called Allow Customers to receive Email in Customer Locale. Emails will be triggered in the customer locale only if this toggle button is turned ON, otherwise it is displayed in the default language (English) only.

We have introduced an event status filter on the Sync Events page to easily filter your subscription sync events. This new feature enables you to filter events with respect to their status in Chargebee. The status filter includes options such as Queued, In Progress, Success, and Failed.

Tracking Missing Subscriptions in Chargebee

Sometimes due to network failures, though a subscription purchase is successful at the mobile client end, the same is not recorded in Chargebee. In these cases, customers can view these missing subscriptions by applying the 'Pending' status filter on the sync overview page and re-sync these subscriptions by invoking the process purchase command API with the associated receipt. The following issues were fixed:

Inability to remove a charge from a future subscription due to a bug.

Inability to override tier pricing while performing a subscription change action wherein the price changes were not reflected.

The subscription was found to be canceled in the current term even when it was scheduled to be canceled in the future.

NPE was displayed while creating scheduled subscription amendments.

Introducing Disable Sync

You can now decide whether you want to disable data syncs while making updates to sales orders through RevRec UI. Disabling data sync prevents the manual data update from being overridden by source system data. Additionally, disabling sync applies to both invoices and sales orders.

This update empowers merchants with finer control over customer-driven quantity changes, enabling them to set restrictions at product and item price levels while also defining fixed and range-based quantity options in the checkout. Additionally, merchants can quickly turn product-level quantity restrictions on or off across all products with a single setting, ensuring a seamless and flexible shopping experience.

Book by Transaction Date

The Transaction date configuration allows you to recognize the entire revenue impact in the accounting period of the transaction date (Posting Period), when prior accounting periods remain open. As a result, any backdated sales orders or credit notes posted in the current period with a prior period service date will now be recognized as a catch-up adjustment in the current period, without affecting prior period results.

With this release, we have added a new column called Written Off Amount in the Invoice View. This column helps the user to understand whether the invoice was paid off or written off and helps in decision-making.

PPM Authorization Rate

With this release, we have added a new feature called Primary Payment Method (PPM) Authorization Rate to the Invoice View and Auto Engagement to assess the efficiency of the card being used by a customer to make a payment. It helps in understanding the possibility of recovering from a payment failure.

With this release, we have added support for BCC Email ID for all outgoing emails. This gives merchants additional tracking and visibility for their emails.

Pre-fill Card Address in Full Page Layout of Checkout (EAP)

We are excited to introduce a new feature in this release that streamlines the checkout process for a more convenient and efficient customer experience. You can enable this setting at Configure Chargebee > Checkout and Portal Settings > Fields > Card Address > In checkout, prefill address information from Billing and Shipping. Customers can easily populate their card address by selecting Billing or Shipping options, minimizing manual entry. Users also have the flexibility to disable this feature and manually enter their address as needed. With these improvements, we aim to make your shopping experience even more user-friendly and hassle-free.

Multi Currency Forex Source Switch

You can now change Forex rate sources in RevRec anytime as required. RevRec will apply rates for future transactions from the newly selected source. Additionally, prior-dated orders and invoices will maintain their existing source rates even in the event of a replay, to prevent any roll forward issues.

The following issues were fixed with this release:

Avalara email notification to inform that the integration was not functional, was not sent to the user as expected.

Sales tax was found to be incorrectly displayed as 0 for the month of July for the state of Ohio within TaxJar due to non sync of TaxJar credentials.

We have updated the tool-tip message for third-party integrations on the Taxes page to fix a copy issue.

Attempting to add a one-time charge to a pending invoice with HSN code and Avalara tax code using API was generating a successful invoice response instead of throwing the error message 'Avalara not configured the site'.

We have fixed the 'Manage API Calls to Avalara' pop up window that was broken for Canada region.

Inability to add one-time charges and quick charges for a subscription along with a coupon on the first attempt. The coupon was populating after adding and removing another coupon.

An error 'decimal values are not allowed' was thrown from UI validation while trying to create a one-time charge for a customer and adding a manual discount.
