  ## Introducing Offer Quantity Coupons

  We have introduced **Offer Quantity Coupons**, that allow you to apply discounts based on the number of free units in subscriptions associated with per-unit plans. This feature helps you manage discounts without reducing the total quantity sold, offering flexibility in your pricing strategy while maintaining your sales volume.
  For more information, refer to our [Help Documentation](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/coupons.html#offer-quantity-coupons) and [API Documentation](https://apidocs.chargebee.com/docs/api/coupons?prod_cat_ver=2#coupon_discount_type).

  ## Generate Custom reports with contract term insights

  You can now unlock the full potential of your contract data with advanced query capabilities in the [Report Builder](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/revenuestory-reportbuilder.html). This update enables you to filter, analyze, and report on key contract fields—such as Contract ID, Status, Value, Billing Cycle, and more—in combination with other data sources like subscriptions, invoices, and historical records. Use Report Builder to get detailed information on your ongoing contracts, track your upcoming contracts due to renew/cancel, and take the right actions beforehand.

  ## Analyze product family performance in RevenueStory

  RevenueStory now empowers you to analyze performance at the product family level with a new product family data source. This update enables you to view your key metrics at a product family level in [visual reports](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/revenuestory-reportbuilder.html#visual-report), get information about all the subscriptions and customers linked to a product family in [detailed reports](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/revenuestory-reportbuilder.html#detailed-report), and group your data by product family in [summary reports](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/revenuestory-reportbuilder.html#summary-report).

  ## Location validation added to card and billing info update

  We've enhanced the API's for adding and updating cards, as well as [updating billing information](https://apidocs.chargebee.com/docs/api/customers?lang=curl#update_billing_info_for_a_customer), by introducing location validation with Taxamo. This ensures accurate tax calculation by verifying all available location evidence, helping you stay compliant and improve the billing accuracy.

<Update tags={["NEW FEATURE"]} topics={["Subscriptions"]}>
  ## Introducing filters for subscriptions with ramps

  We've introduced a new feature that allows you to filter subscriptions based on scheduled ramps directly from the [Subscriptions list page](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/subscriptions.html#viewing-subscriptions). This enhancement enables you to efficiently manage and export subscriptions with ramps, making it easier to execute bulk emails and reports related to these specific subscriptions.

  ## Pricing Table: Enhance your pages with dynamic item-level discounts

  You can now enhance your pricing tables by applying dynamic discounts directly through the Chargebee API. This feature allows you to offer fixed amount or percentage-based discounts at the item price level, display custom discount messages, and tailor promotions to specific plans or your entire catalog. By integrating discounts generated within Chargebee or from external offer engines, you ensure a consistent experience for your customers—from browsing your pricing page to completing checkout and receiving invoices.
</Update>

<Update tags={["ENHANCEMENT"]} topics={["Taxation"]}>
  ## Existing address validation now available at the entity level

  You can now run the **Validate Existing Address** feature at the entity level for [third-party tax providers](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/tax-integration-index.html). Previously, this feature was available only at the site level, which meant validating addresses for all entities at once. By allowing you to validate addresses within a specific entity, it ensures your subscriptions remain active without the risk of unnecessary costs due to address validation across unrelated entities.
</Update>

<Update tags={["ENHANCEMENT"]} topics={["Hosted Pages"]}>
  ## Collect e-invoicing details during checkout for new users

  You can effortlessly collect e-invoicing details from new customers during the checkout process. Our [Full Page Checkout](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/hosted-checkout.html#ui-layout-options_full-page-checkout) now includes the [entity identifier](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/1.0/e-invoicing.html#glossary) field in the billing address section, displayed based on the customer's country and your e-invoicing settings. This means you can capture essential entity identifiers and VAT numbers independently, ensuring compliance with regional invoicing regulations. The collected information is mapped to the customer ID, streamlining your billing process and providing a smoother checkout experience for your customers.
</Update>

<Update tags={["ENHANCEMENT"]} topics={["Hosted Pages"]}>
  ## Restrict customer onboarding to specific regions

  Now, you can control where your customers come from by restricting onboarding to specific regions through Checkout. You can set limitations on billing and shipping addresses by country, state, or zip code. This means you only onboard customers from areas where you provide services, helping you avoid potential service issues, comply with regional policies, and focus on your target markets more effectively.

  ## Adyen API Endpoints upgraded

  We have upgraded the Adyen API endpoints for the **Capture**, **Refund**, **Cancel**, and **Void** flows, transitioning from the API version [v52](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Payment/52/post/authorise) to the latest Checkout API version [v69](https://docs.adyen.com/api-explorer/Checkout/69/post/sessions). This update ensures improved performance, better security, and enhanced compatibility with Adyen's latest features, allowing you to process payments more efficiently.

  ## Streamlined integration with new entity mapping support

  ## Improved reliability for Entitlements API

  To help you prevent unexpected API call failures, we've added validations to the path parameters for the [Entitlements API](https://apidocs.chargebee.com/docs/api/entitlements) endpoints. This enhancement means any issues with your path parameters are caught upfront, making your API integration more reliable.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["Payments"]}>
  ## Billing address support for SEPA payments via Stripe

  We have resolved an issue when creating SEPA payment intents via Stripe using Chargebee.js. Previously, a missing country code parameter caused errors during payment processing. To fix this, we have added support for passing [billing address-related parameters](https://www.chargebee.com/checkout-portal-docs/direct-debit-tutorial.html#_2-handle-payment) in Chargebee.js. This update ensures smoother SEPA payment processing and reduces errors, allowing you to provide a more seamless checkout experience for your customers.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["Invoices"]}>
  ## Fixed: unexpected charges on future subscriptions

  We've addressed an issue where future subscriptions were being charged unexpectedly due to the accumulation of days when an advance invoice was rescheduled. Now, if a subscription is inactive, the system will correctly reference the `start_date` instead of the `next_billing_at`, ensuring accurate billing and preventing unexpected charges. This improvement helps you maintain better control over your billing cycles.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["Invoices"]}>
  ## E-invoice prepaid amount issue fixed

  We've fixed an issue that caused [e-invoices](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/e-invoicing.html) failures due to incorrect handling of prepaid amounts in credit notes. Previously, the prepaid amount was sent with the wrong sign, leading to validation errors. Now, e-invoices process successfully with the correct prepaid amount, ensuring smooth transactions and compliance with Peppol standards.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["Invoices"]}>
  ## E-invoice rounding issue resolved

  We've fixed an issue where [e-invoices](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/e-invoicing.html) were failing due to rounding errors when calculating item prices excluding VAT in tax-inclusive currency and region pricing. Now, your e-invoices will be processed smoothly, ensuring accurate pricing and compliance with tax requirements.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["Accounting Integration"]}>
  ## Improved error tracking for deleted records

  We've improved the way Chargebee handles sync logs for deleted records, giving you clearer insights into any sync issues. Now, when a record is deleted in both Chargebee and a third party system, it is considered a success with the error message: 'Resource is deleted in Chargebee as well as in the third-party system.' If a record is deleted in Chargebee but not in a third party system, it is considered as failed with the error message: 'Resource is deleted at Chargebee, but not deleted in Third Party System. Please process it manually.' This update helps you quickly address any sync discrepancies and ensures more accurate data management across platforms.
