  The Xero integration has leveled up, now offering the ability to deallocate a credit note from an invoice. Previously this was done manually.
  When you deallocate excess payments, they won't generate any extra transactions in Xero. These payments are automatically removed from the invoice, ensuring your accounts stay tidy and accurate with minimal effort.

  ## Support for Multiline Text Custom Fields for Subscriptions

  Multiline text [custom fields](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/2.0/custom_fields.html#types-of-custom-fields) are now supported in subscriptions! This means you can now add detailed text fields to Subscription records. But, hold on! We've spotted a little bug: Currently, adding line breaks directly in these fields isn't working as expected. This issue also affects Customer records.
  The fix is on its way! In the meantime, here's a handy workaround: Compose your text in your favorite text editor—where you can add all the line breaks you need. Once you're done, copy-paste it into the multiline text custom field.

  ## Invoice Fixes

  The following are the bug fixes.

  Previously, when adding non-recurring add-ons with decimal pricing to pending invoices, a quirky glitch shifted the decimal point two places off on the add-on selection screen. We've squashed this bug!

  When your screen shrank below approximately 1200px in width, invoice links on the customer detail page turned unresponsive. We've ironed out this hiccup, making sure the links are click-ready, no matter the screen size.

  ## Improvements to Tax Import

  This latest release introduces several notable improvements in taxes.

  We have added a new `timezone` field to our sample CSV file for tax imports. This enhancement ensures that your tax data aligns perfectly with your specific regional time settings.

  To make your tax import process more efficient, we have updated the overwrite field in our sample CSV file to `yes` by default. This clever tweak removes the overwrite lock allowing for an error-free import.

  We have tightened our CSV validation process. Now, if the crucial `tax_profile_name` field is missing in your CSV file, the import won't proceed. This change guarantees that your tax data is complete and accurate right from the start.

  We identified an issue where some coupons, meant for yearly use, were being applied beyond their intended duration. This oversight has been thoroughly addressed.
