<Update tags={["NEW FEATURE"]} topics={["Entitlements"]}>
  ## Entitlement For Product Bundles

  You can now automatically inherit entitlements from individual items (Plans, Add-ons, and Charges) into [Product Bundles](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/billing/2.0/entitlements/product-bundling) in Chargebee. When items with configured entitlements are added to a product bundle, Chargebee automatically calculates and applies the corresponding entitlements at the bundle level.

  ### **Why is this important?**

  Previously, entitlements configured for individual items did not automatically apply when a product bundle was created using those items. You had to manually configure entitlements at the bundle level and update them separately whenever item-level entitlements changed. With this enhancement, entitlement configuration is streamlined, improving operational efficiency and ensuring consistent entitlement management across items and bundles.

  ### **How can you use it?**

  Entitlements for product bundles are automatically enabled when you turn on product bundling for your site. To enable product bundling, go to **Configure Chargebee > Product Catalog > Product Bundling**.

  ## Item Price Entitlement Overrides

  Chargebee now supports entitlement overrides at the [item price level](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/billing/2.0/entitlements/item-price-entitlements-overrides) within subscriptions, allowing you to configure custom entitlements for individual items (plans, addons, or charges) for a specific subscription.

  ### **Why is this important?**

  This provides greater flexibility for enterprise contract scenarios by enabling precise entitlement configuration at the item price level. You can customize entitlement values for individual subscriptions without impacting the default Product Catalog setup, while ensuring automatic and accurate recalculation during subscription changes.

  ### **How can you use it?**

  Contact [Chargebee Support](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/billing/2.0/kb/getting-started/how-to-contact-chargebees-support-team?utm_source=docs_rn&utm_medium=content&utm_campaign=support) to request enablement of this feature for your Chargebee site.

<Update tags={["NEW FEATURE"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Acceptance links for one time charge quotes [1.75 Package]

  Chargebee CPQ for Salesforce now generates a Checkout or Quote Acceptance link when you create a [one time charge quote](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/billing/2.0/integrations/salesforce-cb-actions#create-quote-for-one-time-charge) and auto-populates it in the Chargebee Checkout link field. This gives you a ready to share link that lets the customer accept the quote and complete payment through Checkout, while ensuring the transaction is created in Chargebee and synced back to the quote.

  ### **Why is this important?**

  This update gives you a consistent link based acceptance flow across new business, amendments, renewals, and one time charges. You can keep your sales led workflows intact, reduce manual follow ups, and ensure purchases are accepted through the correct flow so Chargebee records the transaction and syncs quote details accurately.

  ### **How can you use it?**

  1. Create a one time charge quote in Salesforce.
  2. Copy the generated link from the Chargebee Acceptance link field and share it with the customer to collect payment details and complete quote acceptance.

<Update tags={["NEW FEATURE"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Free Periods for Subscriptions now available in Salesforce [1.74+ Package]

  You can now configure a free period when [creating subscriptions](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/billing/2.0/integrations/salesforce-cb-actions#create-a-chargebee-subscription) directly from Salesforce. This option is available on the Manage CB Products page, allowing you to offer a defined introductory duration before recurring billing begins without using a trial.

  ### **Why is this important?**

  This helps you support sales-led growth by giving your sales team more flexibility to close deals while keeping billing logic simple. It is especially useful when you want to exclude usage charges during the initial period, continue to apply one time charges such as setup or onboarding fee, if needed, and avoid the complexity of ramp configurations. You also reduce manual effort by eliminating the need to adjust billing dates after subscription creation.

  ### **How can you use it?**

  You can enable the free period option during subscription creation in Salesforce for eligible plans that do not use trials. Once configured, Chargebee automatically calculates and applies the updated next billing date, ensuring your billing schedule reflects the agreed introductory duration without additional follow-up actions.

<Update tags={["ENHANCEMENT"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Discounts now available for metered items in quote PDFs

  Discounts applied to [**metered items**](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/billing/2.0/subscriptions/metered_billing) are now displayed in both **consolidated** (summary level pricing) and **detailed quote PDFs** (itemized charges).

  ### **Why is this important?**

  This enhancement gives your customers and sales teams clear visibility into how discounts apply across all charge types, including usage-based charges, reducing friction during quote review.

  ### **How can you use it?**

  No action required. When generating quote PDFs, you will now see discounts reflected for metered items alongside other charges.

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## TCV now calculated correctly in renewal quotes

  We fixed an issue where the [**Total Contract Value**](https://www.chargebee.com/resources/glossaries/total-contract-value/) shown in renewal quotes was incorrect after editing the contract start date. This occurred because the contract summary dates became out of sync with the subscription dates, resulting in incorrect TCV calculations. The fix ensures both date sets remain aligned.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Fix:Quote billing cycle dates now display correctly

  We fixed an issue where quotes showed past dates for the next billing cycle (for example, 2023 instead of 2026) for subscriptions with a trial period and metered charges. Quotes now correctly calculate billing cycles from the actual future billing date.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Fixed:German translations now display correctly for charges

  We fixed an issue where German translations for charge terms were displayed incorrectly in quotes. The correct term **Einmalig** is now shown for one-time charges, and billing frequency labels follow a consistent display order across line items.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Fixed:Plan term changes no longer fail on renewal quotes

  We fixed an issue where updating the plan duration or billing frequency on a renewal quote failed with a 400 error. This happened when changing plan frequencies during renewal, incorrectly blocking the update. Renewal quotes now allow supported plan term and frequency changes without errors.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Fixed:Duplicate consent checkbox removed from mobile checkout

  We fixed an issue in the mobile checkout view of quote checkout links where a duplicate "check the box" consent option was shown.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Fixed:Subtotal excluding VAT now shown correctly in quote PDFs

  We fixed an issue where quote PDFs did not display the subtotal (excluding VAT) when a valid VAT number was present, which could lead to confusing or inconsistent totals. The subtotal now appears correctly in all cases.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Future changes and ramps now supported in amendment quotes with contract terms

  We fixed an issue where amendment quotes failed when creating future changes or ramps for subscriptions with contract terms. This previously blocked scheduling changes, but amendment quotes now support future-dated updates smoothly.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Checkout error resolved for quotes with one-time charges and coupons

  We fixed an issue where checkout failed for quotes that included one-time charges with a coupon applied, showing an error that the discount was not part of the quote. This affected coupons configured to apply to all charges with a one-time duration, even though they were correctly added to the quote. Checkout via quote acceptance links now works as expected.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CPQ"]}>
  ## Phone number now follows sync settings during customer updates

  We fixed an issue where the company phone number was updated even when you selected "Do Nothing" for customer updates from Chargebee. This could override the existing phone number unexpectedly. With this fix, the phone number updates only based on the selected sync preference, while other synced fields continue to work as expected.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Removed price variants now sync correctly [1.74+ Package]

  Removed price variants from item prices in Chargebee now sync correctly to Salesforce. Previously, deleted variants could still appear in Visualforce pages, even though the Chargebee API rejected them as invalid. This fix ensures Salesforce reflects only active price variants, helping you avoid confusion during quote creation and preventing errors caused by outdated pricing values.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Improved subscription handling in Salesforce syncs [1.74+ Package]

  Active web subscriptions are no longer incorrectly removed from Salesforce during targeted syncs. This issue occurred when a subscription was deleted and later re-imported into Chargebee using the same identifier, causing Salesforce to misinterpret it as inactive. The fix ensures active subscriptions are correctly identified and preserved, helping you maintain an accurate view of your current subscriptions during sync jobs.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Fixes for one-time charge errors and shipping address loss [1.74+ Package]

  Errors encountered while creating or editing one-time charge quotes in Salesforce have been resolved. You can now generate one-time quotes without de-reference errors, edit quantities for per-unit charges, and retain shipping address details when editing existing quotes. This fix helps you complete quote workflows reliably without losing critical address or pricing information.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## State field restored for one-time charge quotes [1.74+ Package]

  The State field is now visible when creating one-time charge quotes in Salesforce after selecting an account and opportunity. Previously, the missing field prevented you from entering complete address information. This fix ensures you can capture full address details for one-time charge quotes without additional workarounds.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## One-time charge quote creation issues fixed [1.74+ Package]

  Issues that blocked one-time charge quote creation in Salesforce have been resolved. De-reference errors no longer interrupt the process, and quantity fields for per-unit charges are now editable as expected. This fix allows you to create accurate one-time charge quotes without interruptions or manual corrections.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Improved addon management for subscription amendments [1.74+ Package]

  Addons now appear correctly when creating amendment quotes in Salesforce. Previously, the addon dropdown was empty, forcing you to delete and re-add plans to include addons. This fix ensures all eligible addons are available for selection, making it easier to update subscriptions without unnecessary rework.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Accurate updates for additional subscription parameters [1.74+ Package]

  Additional subscription parameters now update their JSON consistently whenever you make changes. Previously, partial updates could result in outdated values being used in workflows or related records. This fix ensures the JSON always reflects your latest selections, helping you rely on accurate subscription data across Salesforce.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Fix for duplicate errors in renewals [1.74+ Package]

  Renewal batch jobs no longer fail with duplicate errors after renewing and syncing subscriptions to Salesforce. This issue was more common when moving to the latest product catalog while older renewal opportunities were still pending. The fix ensures renewal updates complete successfully, helping you keep renewal records accurate and up to date.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Fix for amendment quote date mismatches [1.74+ Package]

  You can now edit amendment quotes with specific start dates without encountering validation errors. Previously, incorrect date mismatch checks blocked updates for non-ramped quotes. This fix allows you to apply scheduled changes confidently while keeping subscription timelines accurate.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Improved data entry for discounts [1.74+ Package]

  Discount fields no longer clear unexpectedly when you use the Tab key to move between fields. This user interface issue previously made it difficult to enter discounts accurately. The fix ensures entered values remain intact, helping you apply discounts quickly and reliably.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Fix for accurate estimates for subscription changes [1.74+ Package]

  Estimate previews now display accurate amounts when modifying subscriptions with access control set to "On next Renewal." Previously, the preview showed incorrect values, making it hard to trust the numbers during updates. This fix ensures estimates align with your renewal settings.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Currency and timezone issues fixed for Salesforce ramps [1.74+ Package]

  \[Subscription ramps\](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/billing/2.0/subscriptions/ramps#subscription-ramps) synced from Chargebee now retain the correct currency and timezone in Salesforce. Issues that caused regional currencies, such as JPY, to appear incorrectly and timestamps to differ between systems have been resolved. This fix ensures ramp data accurately reflects what is configured in Chargebee.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Fix for duplicate records during quote creation [1.74+ Package]

  Creating a quote in Salesforce no longer results in duplicate Chargebee customer records if Proceed is clicked multiple times. This fix ensures only one customer record is created per account, helping you avoid duplicate data and cleanup work.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Fix for incomplete amendment and renewal quotes [1.74+ Package]

  You can no longer proceed with \[amendment or renewal quote creation\](https://www.chargebee.com/docs/billing/2.0/chargebee-cpq/chargebee-cpq-for-salesforce-amendment-renewal) without selecting a subscription. This validation prevents incomplete or incorrect quotes and helps ensure all amendment and renewal quotes are created with the correct subscription context.
</Update>

<Update tags={["BUG FIX"]} topics={["CRM Salesforce"]}>
  ## Fix for inaccurate estimates in non zero-decimal currencies [1.74+ Package]

  Estimates generated in non zero-decimal currencies now calculate correctly. Previously, rounding issues led to inaccurate values, making it harder to trust quote estimates. This fix ensures estimates display accurate amounts for supported currencies.
</Update>
